Raw Campaign Rules and Next Steps


It's been a whirlwind couple of months. There have been a lot of updates to the files but I think we've worked out all the bugs at this point. In the mean time I've whipped up a new fire team: The Deathdealers

Bodies are Spacenam by Reptilian Overlords as well as the assault rifles. sniper rifle, and grenade launcher. These are all in plastic by Wargames Atlantic.

The other weapons are from the Commando series by Knight Soul miniatures.

Most of the helmets are Chaos Barbarians by MOM Miniatures.

I really was shooting for that greasy feel of old Quake and I (largely) achieved it. The (speed paint) yellow turned out splotchy and the scale of the helmets are a little too big but they are table ready for the next round of tests!.

The shotgun guy was the prototype made a few months ago and it painted without contrasts. It took 5 kits and a dremel tool to get it all together.

These include both rules for model traits, XP, and growth as well as narrative campaigns. These are very raw at this point but I wanted to give them to folks who are excited so they can try them out, make comments, and go crazy with their own additions. Feel free to leave comments and ask questions.

What's Next?

There's a lot of fun stuff in the works including...

New "Body Types"

  • Fodder: Swarm units that can activate as a group
  • Super Heavy: Tanky models that carry multiple weapons and deal more damage, but must get their Adrenaline from frags. 

New Weapons

  • Pistol: Suppression model with 360 LOS.
  • Plasma Rifle: flexible range and risky dice rolls.
  • Penitent Array: Hellraiser cube with chains and Strain.
  • Gorehound: Sawblade launcher that can arc around corners.
  • Mandragora: Poison/Disease/Drug gun.
